The biggest concern of retiring employees will now be removed, a new gift from the Modi government

The biggest concern of government employees is getting a pension after retirement. These employees often have to visit government offices to get their pensions started. The Modi government has taken a marvelous initiative for employees retiring during the Corona virus epidemic. Central employees will now start getting pensions without any hassle after retirement.

The Central Government has started a temporary pension scheme
Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Monday said that central government employees retiring during the Kovid-19 epidemic would continue to receive temporary pensions till the regular pension payment order (PPO) is announced and other formalities are completed.

He said the decision was taken in view of the epidemic and lockdown. Government employees may have difficulty in submitting the pension form to the head office or they may not be in a position to submit the claim form of the service book to the physically related pay & account office. This problem is exacerbated especially if both offices are in different cities.

Jitendra Singh, Minister for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, said, "It is for the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) which is constantly moving from one city to another and from its head office, pay and account office space to another city." He said that since the Modi government came to power, the Department of Pensions and Pensioners Welfare has been given a new look. It is designed in such a way that it can give PPO to the concerned employee from the day of retirement without any delay.

Singh, however, said that PPO could not be given to some of the employees who will retire this time due to disruption in office work due to Kovid-19 epidemic and 'lockdown'. "But the present government is sensitive towards pensioners and senior citizens, so the rule can be waived under CCS (Pension Rule) 1972 to avoid delays in regular pension payments," he said. So that the payment of temporary pension and temporary graduation can be made till regular PPO is given without any hindrance.

The ministry said in a statement, citing Singh, "Central government employees retiring during the Kovid-19 epidemic will continue to receive a temporary pension until an order is issued for regular pension payments and other formalities are completed."
