In the past, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has changed some rules with safety in mind. At the same time, some new rules have also been implemented. The ministry's new guidelines are for bike riders. Let us know about it in detail.

Hand grip handle behind driver's seat

According to ministry guidelines, both sides of the bike will have a hand-held handle behind the driver's seat. Its purpose is the safety of those sitting in the back. Yet most bikes do not have this feature. Along with this pedestals on both sides have been made mandatory for those sitting on the back of the bike. Apart from this at least half of the left side of the rear wheel of the bike will be securely covered so that the clothes of the rear seaters do not get entangled in the rear wheel.

Guide to installing light containers in bikes

The ministry has also issued guidelines for placing lighter containers in bikes. The length of this container should not exceed 550 mm, width 510 mm and height 500 mm. If the container is placed in place of the rear ride, only the driver will be allowed. Meaning there won’t be any other riding bikes. At the same time, if the person is placed behind the rear riding space, the other person will be allowed to sit on the bike. The government will change these rules from time to time.

Let us know that the government has also recently issued new guidelines regarding tires. The underlying maximum is 3.5. Tire pressure monitoring system is indicated for tonnage vehicles. The sensors of this system provide information to the driver about the air condition in the tires of the vehicle. The ministry has also recommended a tire repair kit. After its introduction, the vehicle will not need additional tires.
