After Saurashtra, South Gujarat and Kutch, the meteorological department has now forecast North Gujarat. North Gujarat, Kutch, Saurashtra, Mehsana, Dahod, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Kheda, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Morbi, Kutch are forecast to receive heavy rainfall. On the other hand, 70 dams in the state are 100% full, while 112 dams are on high alert. The meteorological department has forecast what kind of rain will fall in the state in the coming time.
The low pressure created in West Bengal has stabilized in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
As a result, heavy rains are falling across Gujarat due to cold winds. The state, including Ahmedabad, is likely to receive moderate to heavy rains in the next two days due to low-pressure and upper air cyclonic circulation around Madhya Pradesh. Ahmedabad is likely to receive two inches of rain in the next 24 hours.

The meteorological department has forecast two days of heavy rains in North Gujarat, Kutch and Saurashtra. Heavy rains are expected in Banaskantha, Patan, Morbi and Kutch districts on August 24 and 25. Similarly in the next two days in Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar and Aravalli districts of North Gujarat and Dahod, Mahisagar, Chhota Udepur, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Panchmahal in East Central Gujarat, Vadodara and Narmada, Bharuch and Surat in South Gujarat and Saurashtra and Kutch area. The meteorological department has forecast heavy to very heavy rains in districts including Junagadh, Devbhoomi, Dwarka, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Morbi and Kutch.
