Cyclone updated in Gujarat
The threat of 'Tau Te' hurricane is looming on the coast of Gujarat. Hurricane Tau Te is moving at a speed of 17 kilometers per hour. Seeing the seriousness of the hurricane situation, PM Narendra Modi has discussed the hurricane issue with CM Rupani and assured all help from the central government.
According to the meteorological department, the Ahmedabad district administration is struggling to cope with all possible conditions. If 4 people have been evacuated safely in 3 hours, then 4 shelters in 4 talukas of the district have been made available for the dependents.
Shelters have been set up in villages eligible for relocation of coastal areas affected by the possible impact of hurricanes in Ahmedabad district. Out of 12 villages, 4 people have been safely evacuated to the said shelters, including 3 men, 12 women and 3 children.
All of these migrants have undergone rapid antigen testing. The person is sheltered in shelters only after the test is negative. If a person is found to be infected with coronavirus during this testing, it is recommended that the person be admitted to the Covid Care Center and given first aid.
None of the migrants have been found to be infected with corona so far. Adequate arrangements have been made by the district administration for the meals of all the villagers, laborers, children and others who have been shifted to the shelters.
Instructions are being given by the police and meteorological department to relocate people living in raw dwellings and huts through loudspeakers in villages eligible for evacuation of coastal areas potentially affected by the Tau Te hurricane.
